Tarapoto is located in the province of San Martin, approximately one hour by plane from Lima. Known as the City of Palms, the city is surrounded by nature, waterfalls, lagoons and large green mountains, which offers tourists entertaining outdoor activities such as hiking and trekking. To the north of the city is the Cordillera Escalera Regional Conservation Area, which is 150 km of highly bio-diverse rainforest.

Or, go to the Blue Lagoon, located in the Sauce district, ideal for water sports, and nearby, you can choose to take a thermal bath with black mud, perfect for an afternoon of relaxation. There is no doubt that you can learn more about the city by walking through the Plaza de Armas, where you will find the traditional handicraft fair where you can buy souvenirs.
