About Arequipa

Alfredo Rodriguez Ballon International Airport is located 8 km away and about a 25-minute drive from downtown. It is one of the main aerodromes of the region of Arequipa, after those of Lima and Cusco. Likewise, the Arequipa airport also offers national connections with the regions of Tacna, Juliaca, Cusco and Lima. Its architecture is reminiscent of the city as it is also made of sillar.

Arequipa has a pleasant weather throughout the year, with a temperature that remains at 25°C, on average, so you will not notice the difference between each season. In addition, you will be able to enjoy the festivals and carnivals that are celebrated in summer and winter, with many and colorful fairs, typical costumes, dances, delicious gastronomy and tourist activities such as bullfights, fireworks, among others.
